        In depth

        Verdict

        Roseairlie remains 6lb higher than when scoring over track and trip last summer but Mr Crystal is back on a winning mark, though struggling for his best form. Zaplamation was raised a harsh-looking 10lb for last month's win at Redcar and he's failed to figure in a couple of starts since while Petalla was tailed off on her reappearance, though it was the same story before she won last year's renewal and she's not easily dismissed. However, it's SOHCAHTOA that gets the nod as he's been hurdling since winning at Wolverhampton in January and is only 2lb higher than last year's victory at Musselburgh.
