Verdict
The progressive Gandalak won easily at Newcastle last week and will figure if proving as effective on this faster ground but Brae Hill disappointed last time having gone close in the Lincoln on his return. CHOSEN CHARACTER makes more appeal as he made all to score over track and trip in September and can grab the lead from his inside draw today. He's taken to reverse latest running with Dubai Dynamo, who could only manage fifth in last year's renewal, while Postscript remains 6lb higher than his most recent victory at Sandown. A case can be made for both Hefner and Verse Of Love but they'll need things to fall their way drawn on the outside.
