Horsman facing suspension

Chris Horsman has been cited for stamping during Worcester's match with Leeds.

Chris Horsman could be responsible for ruining his own international aspirations, after the forward was cited for stamping.

Wales coach Mike Ruddock is set to name his squad for the autumn internationals, and few would have bet against Horsman's name appearing on the list.

However, the 27-year-old now faces an anxious wait after he was cited for a stamping incident during Worcester's recent Premiership triumph over Leeds.

A guilty verdict would see Horsman banned for at least a month, which would rule him out of the fixtures against New Zealand, Fiji, South Africa and Australia.

The news is a further blow for Ruddock, who is already without many key names through injury.

Meanwhile, London Irish lock Nick Kennedy has also been cited for a similar offence, which allegedly took place during the Exiles' defeat to Northampton.
