Robert Barbieri and Andrea Buondonno have been called into the Italy squad for Sunday's Six Nations game against England.
Treviso flanker Barbieri could win a 40th cap after replacing Jacopo Sarto, who missed the narrow defeat to France on Saturday with a muscular problem.
And Mogliano wing Buondonno has been summoned as a replacement for David Odiete, who is out for a fortnight after spraining an ankle in Paris.
Zebre lock George Biagi remains in the squad but will be assessed in the coming days as he recovers from a muscular injury.
Italy host Eddie Jones' England in Rome having gone down 23-21 at the Stade de France.
