British and Irish Lions: Andy Irvine insists the tourists are raring to go

British and Irish Lions tour manager Andy Irvine claims the squad can't wait to get going after they finally touched down in Hong Kong.

Camaraderie

Despite the disruption of domestic and European finals preventing the entire squad from coming together until Sunday, Irvine insists the squad have come together brilliantly. "It is one of the great things of Lions tours, the camaraderie and the fellowship," added Irvine. "Some of them did only join us on Sunday and haven't been with the team but they obviously know the lads from playing against each other. "This is the thrill of playing for the Lions as it is the only opportunity that the four countries get to come together and it is something rather special. "You get some great characters coming out. Normally lads who are used to knocking lumps out of each other are now best of buddies." Watch every Lions game live only on Sky Sports. To sign up or upgrade click here
