Scarlets hooker Emyr Phillips has signed a new two-year contract with his home region.
The 29-year-old from Llandovery joined the Scarlets in 2008 and made his debut in a league match against Ulster in May 2009.
He has since gone on to make 126 appearances for the Guinness PRO12 team, although he is sidelined until next season after suffering a knee injury against Cardiff Blues on January 1.
Phillips, who has made three appearances for Wales, told the Scarlets' official website: "It has been a frustrating couple of season with injuries but I'm delighted to have signed an extension to my contract to remain here at Parc y Scarlets.
"The recovery is going well on the knee injury and I'm very much looking forward to getting a full pre-season under my belt and hit the ground running for the 2016-17 campaign.
"It's difficult to watch from the sidelines, particularly when the boys have been doing so well and put us in a good position to fight for a play-off spot at the end of the season."
Head coach Wayne Pivac said: "We're pleased to see Emyr joining a strong pool of current Scarlets who have already committed their futures to the region.
"He has been unlucky with injuries of late but we look forward to welcoming him back for the 2016-17 campaign."
