Sale Sharks confirm England flanker Tom Curry will miss Six Nations

Sale Sharks have confirmed that England flanker Tom Curry, who dislocated his wrist in November, will not be back in action until the end of March.

Curry, who had surgery on his wrist, will miss England's Six Nations campaign, which begins against Italy in Rome on February 4, and ends at home to Ireland on March 17.

Sale centre Mark Jennings, who was sidelined with a toe injury, is scheduled to be available for selection for the Sharks' return to European Challenge Cup action against Lyon early next month.

Of the other Sale players with more long-term injuries, lock forward Josh Beaumont is on course to return to action against either Lyon or Toulouse, after recovering from a torn bicep sustained against Harlequins in October.

Samoan centre Johnny Leota, who sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury, is not expected to return for Sale until April 2018.
