The Crusaders have confirmed that New Zealand lock Isaac Ross will miss Friday's Super 14 clash with the Sharks. Ross has been ruled out the round three fixture at the AMI Stadium after he damaged his left ankle during training on Monday. As a result Tasman's Joe Wheeler has been called into the squad from the wider training group. The 22-year-old Wheeler has yet to make his debut in the Super 14 - although he could now make it off the bench.
