Saxons back expecting physical encounter

England Saxons back James Simpson-Daniel has warned his team-mates to expect a "very physical match" against Canada on Saturday. The Saxons will face surprise package Canada in the final of the Churchill Cup after the Canucks shocked France A. And having watched that game Simpson-Daniel knows the Saxons will have to stand up and be counted in New Jersey. "It's going to be a very physical match," admitted the Gloucester star. "They proved that the other day against France A, they put a real good squeeze on France and took their opportunities to score some really good tries. "It may have been a surprise to some people but we watched the first half of that match and they were very impressive." Having reached the final after wins over Russia and the USA, Simpson-Daniel knows the match is another chance for the squad to stake claims for full international honours. "It's great to be through to the final and it's a great for the players here," he added. "Some guys missed out on the senior tour to Australia and for some this is their first tour so it means a lot to all of us and if we can get the right result on Saturday it will be fantastic."
