England World Cup winner Iain Balshaw announces retirement from rugby

England World Cup winner Iain Balshaw has announced his retirement from rugby.
The 35-year-old full-back, who came off the bench during the 2003 final against Australia, has been struggling with knee injuries for more than a year.
And his decision to quit means Mike Tindall is the last remaining member of the World Cup-winning squad still playing professionally.
Balshaw has spent the past five years in France with Biarritz and had spells in England with Bath, Leeds and Gloucester.
He said: "After 16 months of unsuccessful rehab it is finally time to call it a day,

"Through you I have had some amazing experiences, travelled the world and made some life-long friends and for that I am truly grateful."
