London Irish have already started planning for next season with the signing of Paul Warwick from Munster on a three-year deal.

Munster back moves to Guinness Premiership leaders

Guinness Premiership leaders London Irish have signed Paul Warwick from Munster on a three-year contract. The 27-year-old Australian, who can play at either fly-half or full-back, will arrive from Thomond Park in time for the start of next season. The highlight of his spell at Munster came in a Magners League clash with Newport Gwent Dragons where he scored 25 of his team's 50 points. Exiles head coach Toby Booth revealed he did not sign the former Connacht player merely to strengthen the depth of his squad. "Quality not quantity has been the philosophy underlying our recruitment policy, so when the opportunity came to sign a top-class player like Paul Warwick we jumped at the chance," he said. "Paul is a match-winning player whose performances at fly-half and full-back speak for themselves. He is a welcome addition as we continue to build a world-class squad at London Irish."
