The market may prove useful with the Gosden and Haggas yards introducing newcomers, who are either late-maturing or have had problems - or both. Jockey bookings suggest that Dear Heart, hooded on debut and a daughter of Kingman, is the Gosden stable preferred but Stella Maris also makes appeal on paper as a daughter of Sea The Stars out of an Iffraaj mare. My Astra, by Lope De Vega out of My Titania, also commands respect but three of these have already shown promise and we'll go with experience in the form of Newbury third RANI OF JHANSI, who just gets the nod over Camerata and Ocean Wave in an interesting maiden.
