Willie Ever was strong in the market before winning last time out and he looks a good bet to score again here; April Fool and Merrymadcap appeal most of the others. The selection won quite comfortably when beating A Big Sky Brewing last time out at this venue and this progressive sort is difficult to oppose in his current rich vein of form. April Fool is also in good form and he wasn't beaten far at Brighton last time. He has a good draw today and he should be capable of getting competitive. Merrymadcap is a course and distance winner but he was a little disappointing on the turf last time out. The return to this venue is a big plus for him, he has won here four times in the past, so he has an obvious chance. Trifti failed to give his true running at Great Leighs last time so he is hard to back with confidence off the back of that below-par effort. Willie Ever could not be in better form and he can win again.
