    In depth

    Verdict

Top weight Highest Ambition has twice been narrowly beaten on this track but was due to run in the 5.30 at Windsor last night. SIGNORA PRINCESS ran in decent company last season and attracted support on her reappearance at Catterick which she won with a bit in hand - a 4lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a follow-up. The Waterman returned to action with a fine effort on good to soft at Salisbury where he came with a strong late run but Electric Blue has disappointed since landing a Chelmsford maiden. Lion Ring showed potential for Michael Halford at Dundalk and a mark of 75 may be underestimating his ability.
