    Verdict

Groom was disappointing at Windsor after finishing third at Nottingham while Berkshire Phoenix finished last at Newmarket having been a beaten favourite on debut at Bath. George Boughey’s juveniles continue to sweep all before them and CASHEW comfortably landed the odds over this trip last time. She has already placed here and a double beckons unless Battle Of The Nile or Bluebell Way improve markedly on debut efforts. Piffle is a half-sister to several winners but only cost 10,000gns as a yearling.
