In depth

Verdict

Pretty poor fare here in which it should pay to concentrate on just a handful. El Raymondo comes here with plenty of all weather form behind him and fit from his efforts on the artificial surface. With fast ground here likely to be in his favour, despite looking to have a fair bit to find with some of these on the book, he may just be capable of making the frame off top weight. High Diva does not look the easiest of rides, but her form on the Polytrack this winter looks good enough to give her a chance here if she will settle quickly enough, now she is dropped in class. Musical Heath is another to consider. Officially rated inferior to only a couple of these, he has not been in great form on the all weather though and if you back him you are hoping that the return to turf will reinvigorate him. Cork Harbour is another to consider, though again the frame might be his best hope. A front runner, he probably won't be at home on this quick ground and has to prove his well being after bursting last time. By process of elimination then, our selection for this seller is Ball King. The gelding has not seen too much racecourse action, but has been going well enough on the Polytrack and does handle fast ground, so with the highest official mark of the lot he is taken to confirm that rating here and score.
