    Verdict

Universal Command finished tailed off over 1m2f at Newbury on his first run for Jack Barber but did win at Wolverhampton in November. He looks more likely to see out this trip than the other Flat convert Desert Trip but this looks a good opportunity for BALLYCAINES (NAP) to build on a promising first run over timber here last month. Annsam was still beaten 23 lengths when third at Taunton.
