Considering BOB HALL was rated 143 at his best, he is the obvious one at this moderate level. Jurado Express and Lane Marshall are others worth noting in the betting. Lane Marshal hasn't been seen over regulation fences for a while but has shown up well in point to points recently. He did find very little for pressure in a Confined event at Easingwold 19 days ago, though. So would not be one in whom to place maximum confidence. Jurado Express is very effective in races of this nature and has been a grand servant to his connections. His last couple of outings have been a touch lacklustre, though. He may be in need of a confidence booster. However, Bob Hall is a very useful recruit at this level and it will be most surprising if the JP McManus-owned gelding is not good enough to brush this lot aside.
