TIVERS SONG has a chance of reversing the Beverley form with Hurricane Thomas on these terms and gets the most speculative nomination of the day. Strike Force and Sceilin are others worth consideration, while a betting move for Rehabilitation could bring some reward for each-way punters if all 17 contenders stand their ground. The last named may be better on the all-weather tracks, though. Sceilin has been in great heart and has one of the leading amateur riders in the plate. She has also crept up the weights after a series of decent efforts, so has a bit more to do here. Strike Force has dropped to a very fair mark and, as he gets on well with today's pilot, a big run can be expected. Similar comments apply to Hurricane Thomas, whose 6lb penalty for last week's success is fair and he should be capable of another bold show. However, Tivers Song has a big heart for a battle and, as he meets his old rival on much more favourable terms; this can finally be the day for Tivers Song to gain a wholly deserved first career success.
