Verdict

Overall, a very modest race and one in which One Way Ticket must have a great chance of winning, with Cryptogram seen as the biggest danger. Placed in six of his 10 starts, a repeat of any one of the selection's last three turf runs gives him a leading chance. Formerly with Amanda Perrett, Cryptogram warrants respect at this level, particularly based on her second here first-me up this year. That run makes her very competitive. Of the others, She's My Valentine has hinted at ability, although you would have to forgive her her last run. Pacific Ocean is fitted with first-time blinkers and has shown the odd bit of form but, overall, One Way Ticket gets the call over Cryptogram.
