SHAM SHEER has an obvious chance of completing a hat-trick with fellow hat-trick seeker Lordship and the penalised Cheam Forever feared most. Luca Cumani and Kieren Fallon have brought a strong team to the track and they have another live contender in Sham Sheer. It's taken a while for the penny to drop with him but a summer break appears to have done him the world of good as he's won both starts since and he's fancied to complete a hat-trick at a track that should suit. Lordship has also been in fine form but his recent two victories have been achieved with cut in the ground and it's doubtful whether he can reproduce his best form under these conditions. Therefore, a bigger threat may be posed by Cheam Forever who made every yard over course and distance six days ago and was good value for the success. Very Well Red is slipping back to a decent mark whilst Muftarres is also well treated but is proving difficult to win with unlike Sham Sheer who is selected.
