Carlo Du Berlais has taken well to fences and scored over course and distance on a first foray over the larger obstacles. He was beaten less than a length last time and seems sure to figure despite the concession of 12lb and upwards all round. Lough Carra hasn't done too badly on his three fencing starts but would probably appreciate a little more respite from the assessor, whilst Miss Antipova seems highly likely to get involved again as she seeks to bring to an end a run of four successive runner-up efforts. Hard to believe she remains a maiden after 20 starts under Rules. However, in comparison to her modest hurdling form, JUNIOR MASSINI has proved a revelation over fences to date since joining Sheila Lewis and is hard to get away from as he seeks a four-timer off his new 5lb higher mark.
