A large field goes to post for this contest but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be Election Seeker,Fu Manchu and Double Kudos and the vote is given to Election Seeker. The selection was a fair sort on the flat and hails from a yard that knows the time of day in this type of event. He won well on his hurdling debut and although he has a penalty for that win he is taken to defy the handicapper this before going on to better things. Fu Manchu was a seven furlong winner on the flat but he has become disappointing in that sphere of late. However he represents top connections and should be closely monitored in the market. Double Kudos was behind the selection last time and although he is better off at the weights he still has plenty to find. Shingle Street would have place claims on her best form but although she travelled well last time out she found very little off the bridle so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Polar Passion also won well last time out but this is much more competitive and for the winner we return to Election Seeker.
