Limerick Lord’s recent success over track and trip came in a lowly Class 7f contest while the unpredictable Molten Lava scored here in December and went close again at Wolverhampton last week. PORT SOIF was having her first outing for Scott Dixon when runner-up over track and trip a week ago and given she won off today’s mark here at this time last year, she gets the vote with an apprentice’s allowance further helping her cause.
