EOLIAN is a good starting point in this as he was having only his second run in a handicap when runner-up to an in-form rival in a ladies’ race at Huntingdon three weeks ago. Fergus Gregory, who boasts an excellent strike-rate riding for Olly Murphy around here, takes over the reins. Bowie usually runs well on the track and is still capable of a bold showing in this grade, despite advancing years, while Haasab has had a wind operation since last seen and connections will be hoping blinkers have the desired effect on Murchison River. Bolister has gone close the last twice but has crept up the weights without winning.
