The shortlist here contains Boy's Hurrah, Spring Margot, Carryonharry, Lou du Moulin Mas, Moving Earth, Prominent Profile and Indalo, with the vote just going to Boy's Hurrah. Boy's Hurrah has not raced since winning over course and distance on December but his jumping that day left a big impression and that quality might stand him in good stead again today. That said, he is five pounds worse off with both Three Days Reign (who has disappointed since) and Moving Earth, for the length and three lengths he beat them on that occasion, so he needs to pull out a little extra to score. Spring Margot is only one pound above a winning mark in this race and, if putting his best foot forward, holds claims, as does Lou du Moulin Mas, who has won or been placed in each of his last seven starts. Prominent Profile put up a better recent effort last time and, even though he is six-pounds above a winning mark, can go well if his jumping holds up. With Indalo having run a smashing race at Haydock last time following an absence, he too has to be considered but, once again, in the finale, we will stick with the Howard Johnson-trained Boy's Hurrah.
