        Verdict

        MOKTASAAB was still in contention entering the final furlong at Doncaster on his debut but faded close home. Normal progress should see the half-brother to a Group 1 winner bang there at the finish with one of the newcomers likely to provide the biggest threat. Of those, Boltaway is a half-brother to a stakes winner in North America and an early Derby entry while Beowulf, Tajdid, The Rosstafarian and Paramaribo are others related to winners.
