Verdict

Bonarc passed the post in front at Roscommon in June but was subsequently disqualified. She's been a bit disappointing in recent weeks though a spin over fences at Sligo could have sharpened her up. Champagne Gold improved with each run between the flags though could do with plenty of ease in the ground over this trip while Pienta and GOLD DES BOIS (NAP) return after long absences. The former was a beaten favourite in three of five starts over timber last year though not beaten far in any while the latter's 3 lengths defeat by The Very Man at Naas in March is the best form on view and he's moved to Gordon Elliott, who trains the winner, who then completed a four-timer.
