It Just Takes Time has changed stables since completing a double in Class 5 handicaps at Leicester and Redcar but still looks reasonably treated. Tim Easterby has three entries with course and distance winner Wade's Magic looking best of the trio. He had MARK'S CHOICE, last year's winner and five-times successful on the track, just behind over track and trip in June but the latter has the better of the weights now. Shark Two One didn't replicate his two-year-old form last season but has dropped to a winnable mark while course and distance winner Fortamour ran well in a better-class handicap at Doncaster last month.
Mark's Choice (IRE) 15-8fav (9-10) Raced towards rear, pushed along early, gradually switched to outside from 4f out, ridden and still plenty to do over 1f out, ran on strongly to lead close home, won at Ripon 5f hcp (4) gd in Sep beating Van Gerwen (8-13) by hd, 12 ran.
Shark Two One 11-1 (9-5) Towards rear of mid-division, asked for effort 3f out, weakened soon after, 16th of 18, 16 3/4l behind Seven Brothers (9-6) at Doncaster 7f hcp (4) gd in Mar.
Fortamour (IRE) 18-1 (8-7) Held up in rear, going easily over 2f out, short of room over 1f out, headway when ridden 1f out, kept on final furlong, not reach leaders, 5th of 18, 3 1/4l behind Bernardo O'Reilly (8-10) at Doncaster 6f hcp (3) gd in Mar.
Manigordo (USA) 33-1 (8-8) Towards rear far side of group, headway chasing leaders over 1f out, kept on inside final furlong, never going pace to reach leaders, 4th of 17, 1 3/4l behind Chairmanoftheboard (9-6) at Haydock 6f hcp (3) sft in Oct.
Golden Apollo 12-1 (9-6) Rear of mid-division, not much room over 2f out, no impression, 5th of 14, 2 1/2l behind Oso Rapido (9-7) at Newcastle 6f hcp (4) pol in Nov.
