Verdict
GALLYHILL cost a massive £450,000 after winning a point at Kirkistown and went to Nicky Henderson where he won a Newbury novices' hurdle on his debut for the yard. He became very disappointing subsequently and has moved to Gordon Elliott in the hope of resurrecting his career. Joseph Conrad easily landed a Cork maiden hurdle in December 2020 when trained by Elliott but didn't reappear for new connections until last in a Navan handicap hurdle last month. Winning point-to-pointer Cregane Ned won over hurdles here just over a year ago and also ran well on his chasing debut here. He was well beaten on a return visit in February but that didn't look his form. Bonarc gained her only success in 30 starts when landing a maiden hurdle here last May but has performed in very much better company than most of these and has had a run over fences.
