      Verdict

      Beverley scorer IVA GO couldn’t cope with Listed company in the Marygate at York but still finished well ahead of Brighton winner Lady Quickstep and led for a long way here on her debut. Mecca's Hot Steps has a bit to find with the selection on Beverley running but improved on her second start at Doncaster, though gives the impression she already needs another furlong. Baileys Prayer can only improve on his run at Ripon and newcomer Liberty Beach is worth a market check.
