Chortle represents Godolphin and though she didn't show much as a juvenile her pedigree is all about middle-distances so she should do better this season. Silvestre De Sousa rode her last year so it's a surprise to see him on board Power Up for Mark Johnston as her only victory came at Wolverhampton. TIJUCA is another who has only scored on that surface having gained both victories at Lingfield. She's taking on better company here but can race from a lower mark than her latest success so looks very well handicapped and can continue in the same vein. Missy Wells has been staying on strongly without quite getting there so this stiff tack should aid her cause while Lunar Spirit will have benefited from chasing home Opera Fan at Beverley, her first start since October.
