        Verdict

        LOTHAIR is best at this trip with a bit of cut in the ground as he showed at Thirsk a fortnight ago so with just a 4lb rise to contend with he's handed the vote to complete a quick double. Teetotal loves this track and is only 1lb higher than when successful in September and Silvestre De Sousa is a positive booking. Gravitational is better than his recent form figures suggest and has dropped to a mark he's capable of winning from and if the ground stays quick Dark Castle would have to be considered as his last victory was gained in a better race than this at this track last summer and he's only 1lb higher. Solar Spirit has been racing over 7f but it won't be a problem dropping back as he last scored over this trip on Catterick's fast track in August.
