Ground Breaker looks the one here, with his biggest dangers given as Constable Burton, Templet and Rossclare. The Mick Easterby-trained Ground Breaker made a pleasing seasonal return at Market Rasen seven days ago and, given that this is a far-from-strong contest, looks a leading player today. In fact, he looks the one to beat. Winslow Boy's Flat form would give him a chance, but he has yet to replicate it over hurdles, while Constable Burton is not far behind him on the Flat but has exceeded Winslow's Boy's efforts over hurdles, and he could go well here. The Flat winner Templet might go well if taking to this game, but the Irish raider Rossclare, who was placed at bumper level at this venue, needs to have built a good bit on his hurdling debut last time in order to win, but in such a modest affair, that possibility is not ruled out. However, the overall vote goes to Ground Breaker.
