      Verdict

      Missed Call was only beaten half-a-length over track and trip at the start of the month having got off the mark at Doncaster in June. She has to go on the short-list in this while Fersah has her sights lowered and drops in distance after a fourth at Ripon. The consistent Aeronwyn Bryn, on the other hand, tackles 1m2f for the first time while Penny Rose didn't appear to last home when trying the trip at Brighton. ODELIZ may well have won at Yarmouth last time had she steered a straight course and, on a line through third Elhaame, appears to have the beating of Missed Call. Elaine Burke's improving filly can gain compensation here.
