GRAN MAESTRO makes a quick reappearance having finished runner-up in a claimer at Carlisle on Tuesday. Serena Brotherton's presence is a bonus and he makes more appeal than last year's winner Pertuis over today's longer trip. The latter beat Call of Duty, Al Furat and Tinseltown in last season's renewal and the last-named also has something to find with Royal Sea on recent running at Haydock. Dark Dune could prove best of the rest.
