Verdict

A very difficult race to assess with hardly anything other than bloodlines to go on, and we will take a chance on Crystalline to get the better of stablemate Elizabethan Age and Road Rage. The selection is bred to do well at this trip as a juvenile, and with David Loder's team still doing extremely well at this level then she is put forward as a tentative choice, though as usual the market should be watched for further clues. Elizabethan Age is drawn next door and is another beautifully bred sort, who also looks likely to go well at this trip first time out, and we do not have a strong case top put you off her, or indeed Thakafaat, who looks the picks of John Dunlop's duo. Meanwhile Road Rage is entitled to improve for his debut here over course and distance behind Librettist the other week, though he should do better with age. Our tentative selection here then is Crystalline.
