Verdict
FIRST FLIGHT has been running in some of the better mile handicaps this season and this arguably looks the most straightforward assignment he's faced despite taking on his elders for the first time. He looks well treated off 92 and is taken to get the better of Tryster, also a Godolphin representative. The latter beat nothing of note when breaking his maiden and this will tell us far more about his ability on his handicap bow. He's worth a saver. San Cassiano looks best of the older brigade as he's three from the last four for the in-form Ruth Carr, although the handicapper is doing his best to rein in recent progression. Bureau also has to be considered off bottomweight as he's having a productive and busy campaign and still receives weight all round.
