Verdict
Hopefully, the market will help to unravel a real puzzle of a juvenile maiden with Godolphin, Richard Hannon and the Hills family responsible for no fewer than eight of the 13 declared. Steady Major takes them on with a fair second at Brighton to his name but it would a surprise if one or more of some blue-blooded youngsters were not good enough to have his measure. SPACE AGE is the only Godolphin contender with experience and may not have been suited by conditions on debut and could produce considerable improvement now on faster ground, With the benefit of that experience, he's a tentative choice. Belgrade looks the number one choice for the Hannon team on jockey bookings and thus commands respect but the remaining Godolphin trio of Deerfield, Future Empire and North America are all choicely-bred sorts in a contest likely to throw up future winners.
