Brunelleschi belied market odds of 28/1 when successful over course and distance last month but a 5lb rise for that narrow success makes this more difficult for the six-year-old and a safer option looks to be FLEETING STAR, who is preferred over Lucy Brown. The daughter of Compton Place looks the pick of the two runners from Richard Hannon's stable ahead of Getcarter having won well at Salisbury two starts ago prior to running a respectable fourth behind Theatre Street at Epsom off his new mark last time. The Barry Hills-trained Good Gorsoon has dropped to a career low mark but he is hard to back with confidence on recent form and of more interest may be Indian Skipper. The son of Indian Danehill bounced back to winning ways when successful at Folkestone last month and ran creditably when a close fourth behind Mutamared at Goodwood recently. He should be thereabouts again but a better bet looks to be Jeremy Noseda's Fleeting Star, who is less exposed than most of these after just six starts. The three-year-old was good value for her win at Brighton last time and she can defy the 6lb rise for that success.
