More than half of this field have already had a run this year. Gulmarg is worth another try over this trip but is a lot more exposed than some. A winner at Newbury last summer, Seductive Power has found only one too good at Chelmsford and Kempton this term while Supreme King was only beaten a short-head on soft ground at Nottingham. BUSSENTO wasn’t given a hard time on his reappearance at Wolverhampton and doesn’t look badly treated on his handicap debut with recent Southwell fourth Elwasme also running in a handicap for the first time. Connemara Coast will strip fitter today and Burdett Road won a Lingfield maiden last month but may be best on artificial surfaces. Lion Kingdom, Playupskyblues, Gentle Whinny and Almarin all ended last season with a victory and Dionysian is on a hat-trick but Cobalt Blue looks held by a couple of these on the form book.
