Verdict
This, in theory, should prove to be straightforward for ELNAWIN who has plenty in hand of Red Avalanche and Nota Bene at the figures. Richard Hannon's colt hasn't won since completing a hat-trick as a juvenile but he continues to run right up to his best with his placed efforts in a Listed race at Salisbury and a Group 3 at the Curragh right up there with anything that he's produced on the racecourse. His losing run is a concern but it will be more of a problem if he can't win this race which presents him with his easiest opportunity for some time. Red Avalanche is closest to him on official figures and his disappointing Sandown run may be best ignored as it was quite a rough race whilst Nota Bene has held his form well over the years and can never be ruled out with comfort but the remainder can be as they all have mountains to climb to get the better of Elnawin.
