Verdict
The upwardly mobile pair of ILLUSTRIOUS PRINCE and Rockabilly Rebel may be the two to concentrate on although support for Southwell maiden winner Right Grand would clearly be of interest given connections. The main protagonists are closely matched on their running over course and distance last month where Barry Hills' charge finished a length in front of his rival. Rockabilly Rebel rather got the run of that race, as he did when winning on his reappearance, and there's a chance that his front-running style could see him get first run again. However, preference is for the Noseda runner who was entitled to need that first start since April and the initial experience of racing in handicap company. Quick ground may possibly be an issue for him and a little rain certainly wouldn't go amiss but he does have the potential to rank a good bit higher. Right Grand was impressive in his maiden and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of his chance whilst the remainder are by no means out of it but Rockabilly Rebel and Illustrious Prince have more scope than the majority of their rivals and the latter gets the nod.
