RUBENSTAR is consistent and is fancied to take top honours here ahead of Amosite and Magical Speedfit. Pat Morris trains the selection and this Soviet Star gelding has held his form well since winning at Lingfield in January. He tries wearing a hood for the first time today and with a fair young jockey on-board he should run well. Imprimis Tagula drops in trip as he returns to turf, Amosite ran a blinder in defeat last time out and that was a bounce back to form, whilst Magical Speedfit looks a big player but he isn't the easiest of rides and his jockey will need to excel if he is to win. Hustle is a course winner, Thoughtsofstardom is a five furlong horse, whilst Brunelleschi is wildly out of form and the handicapper is slower to react than a blindfolded tortoise. An open start to the day with the vote going to Rubenstar.
