        Verdict

        Ryan Moore partners Shining Emerald for Andreas Wohler and the German raider is not without a chance, despite carrying a penalty for a Group 2 success at Baden Baden in August. Trip and ground look ideal for Breton Rock, who had Coulsty and Cable Bay behind when third last month at Doncaster. But David Simcock's charge has more than a length to find with the three-year-old MARKAZ on that run and is only 2lb better off. Barry Hills' grey never seems to run a bad race and handles all types of going - he deserves another win. So Beloved and Here Comes When were only separated by a head at Goodwood in August and the former has since gone close in a Listed race at Redcar. Belardo was fourth in the Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh in May and has raced exclusively in Group 1 contests since so has to be worth considering eased in class.
