        Verdict

        Ruby Legend has to race off a 6lb higher mark than when successful at Haydock last time and Keith Reveley's gelding may struggle to follow up off his new mark so preference is for Thornaby Green, who gets the vote ahead of House Martin. The selection does not win very often but is a consistent performer and has trip and ground conditions to suit so gets the vote to resume winning ways. Master Nimbus has been performing well over hurdles but his recent flat form leaves something to be desired, while Futoo is hard to recommend on recent evidence. House Martin ran better at Yarmouth last time and has claims on that evidence but preference is for the consistent Thornaby Green, who is taken to resume winning ways.
