In depth

Verdict

Dashel Drasher showed admirable battling qualities when making all at Ascot to follow up an earlier win at Chepstow but has to give weight to three other previous winners in this and could face a battle for the lead from Remastered. Morning Vicar improved on his third here in November to land a Ludlow maiden last month and should continue on an upward curve but BREAKING WAVES also makes plenty of appeal. After showing promise in his first two runs over timber, he showed a nice turn of foot to score at Huntingdon and Harry Teal again claims 5lb. Smith's Bay and The Wolf should be the best of these still seeking a first victory over hurdles.
