Verdict

The penalised Avantgardist tries 3m for the first time and this is a better race than the one he won at Warwick. Sheila's Fancy folded tamely on a return visit to Fontwell last month but Plumpton runner-up Three Star General has run into a bit of form and appears to hold Sackett, who has been chasing, on the form book. NOTACHANCE was making his handicap debut when a close fifth over track and trip three weeks ago. He’s only had four runs under Rules so probably has more scope than most of his rivals. His Dream and Agincourt Reef have both had their limitations exposed recently.
