Formwatch
Welsh Border has to give two pounds away to the field here but could be up to the task. He's open to a lot of improvement. Archduke Ferdinand beat Tamburlaine on that horse's debut last year and then ran well in a Listed race; the trip should pose no problems but he is untried on the going. Regatta Point is also progressive and rounded off last year with a third in the Listed Zetland Stakes over ten furlongs on soft. Forest Tune and Golden Wells both need to improve on their maiden wins at Pontefract and Musselburgh respectively.
