In depth

Verdict

Captain Windsor gets the vote here with Keswick and Lord Atterbury rating the main dangers. The selection won a point to point in good style on his only start to date. He is held in high regard and with conditions to suit he looks the value bet in an open affair as he has plenty of scope for improvement. Keswick rates the main danger on his latest sixth behind Aces Four. That form has since been franked and as this looks easier he should run our selection close. Lord Atterbury would be a danger to all on his best form but he showed very little enthusiasm last time so can not be put forward with any confidence. Original Thought has shown enough in his last three runs to suggest he can pick up a little race but he is more exposed than most. Talk The Talk hails from a top yard and should be closely watched in the market but for the winner we return to the highly regarded Captain Windsor.
